Synopsis

The fourth book in the Dark Fates series is Tomb Raider meets The Mummy meets spicy Greek mythology.

For his kindness to humanity, Prometheus was chained to the Caucasus Mountains for thirty thousand years, only managing to escape when the fall of Olympus weakened Zeus’s hold. On the run ever since, Prometheus’s life has been marked by unspeakable tragedy, and the Titan of Knowledge’s sole mission is to bring Zeus down.

Prometheus, Ares, and Hermes go to New Orleans to meet the daughter of the former Muse of History, Zarena. Uneducated about her origins or divinity, Zarena is the adopted daughter in a family of LOA (Voodoo Gods & Goddesses of immense power), a full-figured beauty with the smart mouth and confidence to back it up. In a clash of cultures and pantheons, the truth of Zarena’s parentage is made known, and the death of her mother and father drags her right into the fray. The attraction between Zarena and Prometheus is undeniable, and because she is a confident, self-assured anthropologist, she’s unapologetic in her appetites.

Armed with knowledge and a few of our favorite gods and goddesses, the two venture out on a Questing Road, searching for the Lost Library of Alexandria and Pandora’s Box. Action, adventure, and death await around every corner, but with a betrayer amongst them, it’s the threat within that puts them most at risk.
