Miles had been crushing on Nessa from afar and he finally started to feel a bit of reciprocation from her but she was nervous due to the fall out from her crush in the previous book. However they had a conversation about their feelings and they were off and running.
HOWEVER: BOTH of these characters were SUPER introspective and it got a little annoying about hearing all the self doubt from both sides.
The narrators for this are Stephan Dexter and Emma Wilder. I very much enjoy both of them as actors!
