Synopsis
Samantha Logan is an attorney with a large law firm in Washington, DC. For more than two years, taking no vacations, she has worked 90 hour weeks with all her cases being divorce and family law situations. She has endured threats, fights, and disputes of all kinds in her office and decides she has to get away from it.
She takes a vacation going back to Cimmaron, Texas, where her ancestral roots lie.
Confrontations with a rude, obnoxious, depressed architect named Roger Baldwin cause her to consider abandoning the vacation.
Gradually a relationship with Roger deepens into a passionate love affair. The two are faced with roadblocks to their future.
