High up in the snow-covered Rockies, the mining town of Sully Creek is shivering in terror. Three victims have been found with their heads in their laps—literally. U.S. Deputy Marshal Custis Long has been dispatched to bring in the killer with an ax to grind.
With a snowbound train on the tracks, there are rail cars full of potential victims, including the beautiful Angel of the Rockies, the singer Miss Janice Hathaway, whom Longarm’s grown quite fond of.
