If Deputy U.S. Marshal Custis Long can’t get a raise—he’ll take a vacation. Longarm decides to accompany the beautiful Lila Chandler back to her family ranch for some well-deserved R&R. Along the way the couple meet a newspaperman with a prospector’s map—and soon the threesome are headed for Skull Mountain in search of gold.
But they aren’t the only ones. Someone has paid a deadly visit to Lila’s father—a legendary lawman. Longarm will have to put the quest for justice before the rush for riches…because his vacation just ended early.
