Escorting a wanted man from El Paso to Denver is a peach of an assignment for Longarm, until—right before his eyes—an assassin empties a six-gun into his prisoner.
Chasing the shooter off the train, Longarm finds himself caught in a torrential downpour. But his rain of bullets hits its mark. He kills the gunman…only to run into his accomplices in the storm.
