Synopsis

I press the green, small—cup featured button and the machine awakens with a welcomed evaporating steam noise. The aromatic, desirable scent floats toward me as it fills the cup with a rich fragrant chocolate color liquid. I am thrilled, already anticipating the taste. When the machine signals that the cycle is completed, I grab the cup, though too hastily, and some of the liquid manages to spill on my white blouse.

“Fuck me,” I murmur under my breath with irritation.

“Is that a request?”

Oh, I am not alone ... I shift my gaze back to see who has just spoke teasingly; I hold the counter for balance at my momentary loss of it, taking in the sight of the orator. Oh me oh my, what a sight he is!

My face burns from the very center of my skull through my throat reaching the top of my cleavage. And I don’t do blushing. What the hell, Hales?

Standing there seeming amused is a stunning golden haired Greek god. He has the most alluring bad boy stance about him, but there is something about his eyes that inexplicably pull me in. I am immediately lost in them.

He looks at me entertained, a crooked sexy curve upon his lips and a wicked glee in those magnetic hazel—sage eyes. I gape at him, my jaw slightly dropped. “Just made some coffee,” I mumble an excuse followed by a thin simper.

“So, I assume it wasn’t a request then?” He brazenly banters, expressing nothing but mere smugness. That sexy grin still plastered upon his face and his eyes insinuating pure sin.

“Too bad,” He murmurs next and I have to swallow hard.
