Last Call is the thirteenth instalment in the Daley/Fernandez series, and I’ve read every one of them. It’s an outstanding series with winning characters and consistently strong plotting. This book is no exception, as Mike Daley defends a nephew who has been charged with murder in a case that appears to be a slam dunk for the prosecution.
