Shout-outs

A couple of things made this a four star for me. One I liked the way the story was played out. First we meet Rebeka and Arik. They are blissfully happy and the author gave us insight into their love for one another. The the author shows them fighting for their love in the present day. The shift in setting was well done. The evil Bran was the perfect hateful villain in this story. This story will appeal to many types of readers. Anyone that likes historical romance, adventure, and time travel/ fantasy will enjoy this imaginative

Sometime in books involving time travel, it's kind of like watching people having a conversation in a car in a movie. If you look hard enough, you can see the lines indicating that it was filmed in front of a blue screen and the desired background has been digitally inserted after the fact. By that long-winded explanation, I mean that there is a noticeable, perhaps jarring difference beween the various times. Not so in Knight of Rapture. I was equally at home in the past and present/future. The transformation between times was as

There are many different points in this book where I felt touched and had tears in my eyes. I felt the love that Arik and Rebeka was as tangible as his sword. He is big bad when he needs to be and when he is with Rebeka and those he loves, he is a teddy bear. I love that in a guy. Rebeka knows who she is and who she is destined to be with. Their love is literally timeless.

…This was an amazing story. I was not sure if it would catch my attention but that was taken care of after a chapter or two… The author solidifies the romance with the reader quickly for those (like me) who had not read the first book. I have to make mention of the exceptional way she was able to thread necessary parts of the previous book into this one seamlessly to keep me from being lost or confused over things that happened previously.

Synopsis

For months Lord Arik has been trying to find the precise spell to rescue his wife, Rebeka, but the druid knight will soon discover that reaching her four hundred years in the future is the easiest part of his quest.

Bran, the dark druid, follows Arik across the centuries, tireless in his quest for revenge. He’ll force Arik to make a choice, return to save his beloved family and home or stay in the 21st century and save Rebeka. He can’t save them both.

Rebeka Tyler has no recollection of where she’s been the past five months. On top of that, ownership of her home, Fayne Manor, is called into question. When accidents begin to happen, it looks more and more like she is the target. Further complicating things is the strange man who conveniently appears wherever trouble brews—watching her, perhaps even…. protecting her? Or is he a deliberate attempt to distract her? Rebeka can only be sure of one thing—her family name and manor have survived for over eleven centuries. She won’t let them fall… in any century.
