Roxie would have to tell Sonny the truth someday. True, she was a reporter for Sportspeople, but an expert fisherwoman? Never!!
Why had she agreed to the deception? Was an interview with that country's top angler—perhaps enough to finally get her boss' attention and that raise—really worth it? Once she would have thought so, but not now that she's fallen in love with Sonny, a man she knows considers honesty far more precious than good fish tales.
