Startled, I fell backward as the creature, about the size of a kitten, jumped out of the bushes. Her pink fur, covered in blue spots, and her large ears and fluffy tail, made me instantly remember her. “It's you again!”
She brushed her head along my hand, and, just like last time, tiny electric lightning bolts shot back and forth between my hand and her skin.
