He's grumpy, she's cheery. What could possibly go wrong?
Agricultural scientist, Ginger Sanders, lands in Pinecone Falls, her suitcase filled with Christmas cheer and an undying love for snow. Her family doesn't “do” Christmas in winter locations so she is excited to experience a traditional holiday and put her degree to good use helping the Woodward family with a problem they are having at the tree farm.
Grumpy widower Ethan Woodward has only one wish this Christmas - to save his failing tree farm. He lost his father last year and now it's all on him to keep the family tree farm running as smoothly as it has for generations.
But there's a problem... the trees are becoming more and more unhealthy and they haven't responded to anything Ethan has tried.
Ethan may have to accept someone's help. Too bad cheery Ginger, who sings to her plants and is bubbling over with optimism, has the knowledge he needs. Fine, he'll let her help but he's not going to be friends with her. He'll just act even grumpier than he usually does to keep her at bay. But he has to let her try... she could be his last hope ... in more ways than one.
