The Good Daughter is yet another superlative thriller from Karin Slaughter. There are secrets in all our lives, and so it is here, when the protagonist’s suppressed memories of a twenty-eight-year-old crime echo across time when she stumbles across another horrific crime.
The Good Daughter examines issues and emotions that might be troubling to some, but are handled adroitly and are definitely not gratuitous. The characters are complex and compelling, and the story is filled with unexpected twists and turns. It’s another great read from Karin Slaughter.
