Synopsis

War hero Basuin doesn't know what to believe in anymore.

All Basuin knows is life as an army captain, and the pain, loss and disgrace it has given him. Demoted and humiliated by his commander Kensy, he is led into the forest for one more mission: to aid in capturing a god. But when Kensy's gun turns to innocent wolf pups, Basuin dives in the way.

The Wolf God, impressed by his sacrifice, deifies Basuin for one more task: protect the forest and its beautiful, sharp-tongued god from the legion's deforestation.

But as a man responsible for the destruction of her forest, the God of the Forest would rather watch him burn. Hurt and betrayed too many times by humans, the God of the Forest now works alone. The longer she and Basuin fight, the more her home disappears around her. With everything at stake, Basuin and the Forest God must learn to trust and believe in something greater than themselves.
