Synopsis
How can we begin to understand God's amazing love that caused Him to send His only begotten Son to earth to die a horrible death for us? In this short story which won an honorable mention in a Writer's Digest contest, I have tried to capture, in a creative way, what the atmosphere must have been like in the courts of heaven, on earth and in hell as the fate of the human race hung in the balance on that first Good Friday. Who were the key players? What was their reaction? What were the outcomes? If you are a Christian, I trust that this story will help to deepen your appreciation for what Jesus did on the cross. If you are not a Christian, I pray that this story will spark a desire in you to get to know this Savior and make Him Lord of your life.
