Not long after the creation of the universe, a battle to reign has ensued between angels and demons. For warring entities Emilisia, Hayes, Leva, and Collier, nothing is more important than gathering human souls to join their fight. Both contenders are loyal to the cause, pulling strings and influencing where necessary. But the mission will prove daunting as they navigate the rules within the realms.

Since Collier first woke up in Hell, he has had one goal: influence human souls. No matter how. No matter when. Wouldn't some company make living among the fire and brimstone a little less lonely? This might be true if demons cared about that sort of thing.

Finding herself on the other side of the scale after a universal catastrophe, Emilisia wonders just how far away the darkness actually is. In order to completely soar to safety, she will need her wings. However, angelic rules state that no wings will be rewarded without completing a Heavenly mission.

While semi-stranded on the Earth, Emilisia and the other angels will strive for the ultimate good. The problem?? They are up against a swarm of demons who are more than happy to spend quality time with God's favored creation.

One human threatening the assumed outcome is Mae, an innocent and well- meaning teacher who becomes entangled in the unseen. Her involvement will shake the foundation of all that both sides have fought to protect.

How will these chosen beings respond when their powers of persuasion are put to the test?

Will one side fail epically while the other basks in victory, or will the clouds finally be balanced in eternity?
