Synopsis
A Time for Eating Wild Onions is the pre-story for some of the characters in Starks' second book. Along with fry bread and grape dumplings, wild onions are a traditional Native American dish. The Cherokees' language gives additional texture to the crucible that was San Francisco during the Vietnam War.
