Synopsis
Thirty years ago, Ralth Eric Martin's law enforcement training officer was killed on his first time out on patrol. Because of her family connections, he was banished to the frontier mining world of Bane's World. Now, all he has to look forward to is keeping order with unruly miners and making sure the supply ships from the Federation come in safely. At least, that was until today. Today, somebody decided to blow up one of the supply ships. Now, Ralth, five days from retirement, finds himself in the middle of an ancient war that he never knew existed. Now, the only thing Ralth has to look forward to is trying to stay alive. Ralth will find many new allies, and even some old ones, as he goes from an exile to a leader in a war he never wanted.
