About the author
Robin James is an attorney and former law professor. She's worked on a wide range of civil, criminal and family law cases in her twenty-year legal career. She also spent over a decade as supervising attorney for a Michigan legal clinic assisting thousands of people who could not otherwise afford access to justice. Robin now lives on a lake in southern Michigan with her husband, two children, and one lazy dog. Her favorite, pure Michigan writing spot is stretched out on the back of a pontoon watching the faster boats go by.

This definitely kept me turning the pages. That's not an easy feat for me these days with so many distractions at my fingertips. I'm still kind of processing how I feel about it. But the hype on this book was merited in my opinion.
I had heard about this book everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE. It did not disappoint.
Really enjoyed this one. I've long been a fan of Alessandra's writing style. She didn't disappoint. For me it was a cross between Billions and Desperate Housewives with a dark twist.
