Mick Herron is a British novelist and short story writer best known for his New York Times bestselling Slough House espionage series. Born in Newcastle and educated in English at Oxford, he is also the author of the Zoë Boehm mysteries and several standalone novels. Herron’s work has earned numerous honors, including the CWA Diamond Dagger for Lifetime Achievement in Crime Writing, the Gold and Steel Daggers, the Theakston’s Novel of the Year Award, the Barry Award, and the Ellery Queen Readers Award, with additional nominations for the Macavity and Shamus Awards. His novels Slow Horses and Down Cemetery Road have been adapted into Apple Original series. A Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature, Herron lives in Oxford and writes full-time.
