I absolutely LOVED this story! It’s pretty evident that Bella has strong feelings towards Tyler and she needs more than what he’s offering. He had to really work at winning her over. There was a time or two I thought for sure he was going to lose his ever loving mind at the situation. It’s been a while since I’ve read a story with this type of angst and I was gobbling every word of it as fast as I could.

There was a bit of repetition throughout the book but it felt to me as though it was moving faster than the previous books in the series and I really liked that. Things were happening. It wasn’t just two people verbally hammering their problems, which is fine too, but this just had a different feel to the way things progressed.

There’s no denying the chemistry between Tyler and Bella is electrifying. They set my kindle on fire, more than once. There’s a bit of drama, some jealousy, and another huge cliffhanger. LRJ is killing me! I need the rest of Tyler and Bella’s story!!!

This was filled with relationship angst that had me on the edge most of the book. While I’m not a fan of secrets between the hero and heroine, the fact that it was obvious how this couple felt about each other helped to ease the way for me.

Nick and Faith were FIRE together! Their chemistry was off the charts and the suspense that ran throughout the story made this an intense read on every level. Their inner thoughts did take precedence at times when I was ready for things to move on.

I loved the inclusion of the Inside Out characters. Seeing my favorites was a real treat, especially when their presence added to the storyline rather than taking it over. Overall, a great read and an excellent addition to the Inside Out world.

Loved getting back into the feel of the Inside Out series although I have to confess, I think I love Allison and Dash the most. This was a great set up to the trilogy. It isn’t instal-ove although there is some serious attraction. However, it isn’t acted on until much later in the book. Nothing is rushed or overdone and yet the chemistry feels real and absolutely sizzles.

We are slowly teased with the depth of the mystery and still do not fully understand what all is happening with it, leaving me guessing and anxious to find out all the details concerning it and the other Allison. Even as the author laid the groundwork for the next two books, I was engaged and curious to learn where she was going to lead us. You never know with this one!

Allison and Dash each have something in their background that they carry. We get a bit of Allison's but not Dash although there was quite a twister at the end. This isn’t heavy with danger, action or drama but it is filled with plenty of delicious character development as well as a fiery connection between this hero and heroine.

4.5 stars--BLOODY LOVE is the sixth instalment in Lisa Renee Jones’ contemporary, adult LILAH LOVE romantic, suspense series focusing on FBI agent Lilah Love. BLOODY LOVE should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately after the events and cliff hanger of book five BLOODY VOWS

NOTE: If you have not read book five, there may be spoilers in my review.

Told from first person perspectives (Lilah Love) BLOODY LOVE picks up immediately after the events of BLOODY VOWS in which Lilah’s fiancé Kane Mendez’ chopper went down in the ocean, and there has been no word as to any survivors. Meanwhile, the investigation into the increasing number of victims who have died under mysterious but similar circumstances continues to reflect on both Kane and Lilah’s personal lives, Lilah and her team begin to dig deeper when a person of interest claims to have information that is pertinent to their case. Demanding immunity, said person takes the team on a ride for their lives.

BLOODY LOVE continues to focus on the dysfunctional family dynamics of Lilah Love’s family, and the build up to her father’s run for higher office. As the political powers set the game into motion, Lilah waits on the side lines for everything to implode.

Lisa Renee Jones pulls the reader into a continuing story of betrayal and power wherein the person with the ultimate control may very well be someone close. The fast paced premise is intriguing, detailed and clever; the characters are powerful, feisty and spirited.

Another amazing addition to the Lilah Love series! I keep falling deeper and deeper into this incredible collection of books as the characters continue to draw me deeper into their lives.

Lilah Love is one of the most bad-a++ heroines around! If you’re looking for a tough FBI agent with a penchant for dropping the “F” word and the ability to solve crimes that have all kinds of twists and turns, she’s your girl!

While her relationship/romance with Kane tends to remain in the background, each book is pulling them as a couple a bit further into the storyline. This might have a low heat, but it has a great connection between Kane and Lilah emotionally. I love that they thrive off of each other and are determined to keep the other safe at all costs.

This book continues to build one mystery while solving another. Even as it wraps things up, there are still questions left that I can’t wait to find the answers to. As always, I’m left happy and satisfied while still desiring more.

When He’s Dirty (Walker Security: Adrian Trilogy #1). By Lisa Renee Jones. 2020. Julia Patra Publishing (ARC eBook).

Before Adrian Mack was a member of Walker Security, he was a deep undercover FBI agent in the Texas Kings biker club. Now the high profile trial of the King Devil, the worst man Adrian has ever known, is about to begin and bodies are dropping like flies. ADA Priscilla Miller’s case against the leader of the Texas Kings is about to go up in smoke if the witnesses keep dying and she herself in danger. She needs Adrian to come on board as the star witness. And after vetting Priscilla, Adrian and the Walker Security team agree to keep her safe and put King away for good.

The beginning of Adrian and Priscilla’s story has well paced drama and suspense. Both are engaging characters and out to make sure the King Devil pays for his crimes. Overall an entertaining read and I look forward to the rest of the trilogy.
