About the author
#1 NY Times and USA Today bestselling author Lisa Jackson started writing after her sister read an article in Time Magazine in 1981 about how young mothers were making money writing romance novels. Both Lisa and her sister, Nancy Bush, began their writing careers right then, and lo, these many years later Lisa has published seventy-five plus novels and has no plans to slow down anytime soon.

For New Orleans Detectives Bentz and Montoya, a fake priest who killed prostitutes years ago was supposed to have been killed by Bentz years ago, but it seems he is not dead and is in fact back in the city killing again. But could there be more than one killer committing the new round of murders? The murders don't seem to be the pattern of the fake priest. Some fit his pattern but the rest seem to be committed by someone out to get revenge against the police and Bentz in particular.

Two romantic suspense stories written in 1986 and re-published in one new volume. Even tho they are older stories I enjoyed them and thought the suspense of each story was enough to hold my attention. The first, Yesterday’s Lies opens old wounds from five years earlier and brings to the surface feelings of betrayal and a love that won’t die. The second, Zachery’s Law is about a desperate woman trying to find her two children who were kidnapped by her ex husband more than a year ago. After finally finding a lawyer who will actually help her, she also finds love again that she never thought possible after the hurt and betrayal she has suffered.
