I’m just peachy keen and hunky dory

What would it take to bring the black sheep in the Reed family home for good? The murder of his father and then the stalking of the girl he once loved that is now a judge in Resolute. Considering being a bodyguard is his profession, he knows there is no one better to watch out for his sister’s best friend, Sara, than him and he reluctantly accepts the job and vows to see it through to the bitter end even if she breaks his heart again. Or will he? I love Resolute, I love the Reed family and I can’t wait to see what this wonderful author is going to share with us next. Whatever it is, it will be a treat!

Leslie Marshman’s installment in the K-9s on Patrol mini series is simply a pleasure to read. The characters are engaging, the storyline engrossing and the pup adorable. My favorite so far!

Things get really complicated for Chief Deputy Adam Reed on the job when a murder occurs in Boone County while his boss (and sister) leaves him in charge of the office and the dead guy turns out to be the slime ball the girl of his dreams had married while he was away at college. Knowing Rachel was definitely not the killer despite publicly threatening to off her deadbeat ex, Adam struggles with boundaries even as if becomes apparent that Rachel is now the target. Riding along with another Reed sibling as they face love, murder and their own siblings is always a sure fire good read and this one did not disappoint! Now what’s up with Nate and Sara...hmmm?

An uptight sheriff on the search for the man who killed her father pairs up with a woo woo PI looking for his missing niece and sparks fly. When their cases collide the real question is can they find a happy medium for their happily ever after?
