Leopoldo Goût is a multidisciplinary artist, writer, and filmmaker whose work explores the ephemeral through a fusion of abstract and figurative elements. Born in Mexico City and raised in a creatively rich environment, he draws on memory and folklore to craft immersive artistic experiences spanning painting, sculpture, digital art, soundscapes, and performance. His work, often described as existing in the hazy borders of identity and consciousness, has been exhibited in major galleries and museums worldwide.
A graduate of Central Saint Martins in London, Goût has also made a significant impact in film and television, producing and writing for projects like Molly’s Game, Days of Grace, and the Netflix series The Chosen One. His documentary CARLOS premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival and was distributed by Sony Pictures Classics. As a novelist, he has earned acclaim for works such as Piñata, named one of the Top 10 Horror Novels of 2023, and the award-winning Genius: The Game series. His illustrated novel Monarca is currently being adapted into an experiential project.
