I like to write about silly, quirky characters and cats. Most of my mysteries have a traditional feel to them probably from watching too many episodes of Murder She Wrote and Midsomer Murders.
I much prefer reading to writing but, when I got laid off after a twenty-five year career in software engineering, I turned to writing to pay the bills. It took and I never looked back.
Much to my astonishment and that of my childhood English teachers my books have hit the USA Today bestseller list and have won a few awards including the "Best Mystery Romance" award at the 2014 Indie Romance Convention and Chanticleer Mystery & Mayhem First Place category winner in the Animal Mystery category.
