Any visit to Harmony and the dust bunnies is a welcome one but I felt like this installment didn’t quite get off the ground. I kept waiting for the heart of the story...the danger, the romance, the adventure and it never happened. The main characters, Molly and Joshua, quickly achieved their objective, rescue the lost expedition and then the rest was mostly filler with a side of dust bunnies. While it set up the next book in the series I wish there had just been a little more...Jayne Ann in this one.

I love dust bunnies and I’m always up for another grand adventure to the futuristic world of Harmony. This go round we have a fire witch matchmaker and a ‘just an engineer’ maybe son from the rumored mob family the Sweetwater’s facing down a bad guy or two. The continuing storyline woven amongst the books makes it a must read series and not a one and done. Can’t wait for the next installment!

I was so excited to get back to the world of Harmony but the visit didn’t live up to all of the hype. As hard as I tried to convince myself it would get better, it didn’t. Lucy was a tad bit annoying. Whiny. No one believed her. Jones abandoned her after he rescued her. The job was done. Wasn’t he supposed to move on to the next one? I was a bit confused by the repeativeness of that particular complaint. I tried the ebook and audio version and in audio every time Lucy complained about being sent to a para pysch facility it sounded like parasite. Which could have made the book a bit more exciting, maybe. Loose threads left it open to another visit to Illusion town in the future and of course Dustbunnies!
