James D. Doss Follow

James "Danny" Doss was an American mystery author known for his Charlie Moon series, featuring a Ute detective/rancher in 17 novels. Born in Kentucky, he later lived in New Mexico, where he worked as an electrical engineer at Los Alamos National Laboratory, specializing in particle accelerators and biomedical technology. After retiring, he continued writing while residing in Taos and Los Alamos.
