J.P. Hostetler (Jake) is an award-winning fantasy author and non-fiction travel writer originally from Lancaster, Pennsylvania in the United States.  Never one to stay in one place, he has led a global lifestyle living in places like Germany, South Korea, and India. Many of these international experiences and lessons learned on the road shape his worldview and make their way into his writings which focus on leaving the comfort zone and preserving cultural and biodiversity. His first published work, The Sky Belongs to the Dreamers, is an illustrated children's fable about overcoming self-doubt. It was published in 2019 and received the Mom's Choice Gold Award for best in family-friendly media.
