H N Burkquest was born in the North West of England in the 1960s. She lives in Cheshire with her husband of 30 years. They have three daughters and three cats.

She works in the NHS and loves her job as a personal assistant.

When she isn't writing, she enjoys progressive rock music, traveling and Netflix
