‘We all came seeking the light, and all they found was...darkness.’
Team Blackbird lands in Paris in this outing featuring an old face from the previous two installments, Daniel, a Scottish policeman now a full fledged Krewe member who has only recently come into his ‘powers’ of seeing the dead and an American agent newly assigned to the team that hasn’t met any of them yet. I enjoyed the story even though we were repeatedly subjected to the Bathory legend over and over again and once again the whole ghostly point of the team seemed to be downplayed with only minor interactions with two ghosts leading up to the big finale.

“He would go on.”
On the heels of shutting down the H.H. Holmes Society Luke and Carly are thrust back into another, even worse, serial nightmare. Someone, or someones, are killing people and harvesting their organs. With the help of one determined, but long dead Scotsman, and a team of Scotland police, we’re treated with a page turning adventure highlighting what this author does best! Bravo.

I have not read any books by this author for a while and I am sorry for that. I really loved the twists and turns and the great suspense. I also enjoyed the slight bit of romance. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I really like all the characters. I received a copy of this book from Harlequin for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.
