Geoffrey Dutton writes fiction about people he's never met in places he's never been, well enough to fool most of the people most of the time.

He holds advanced degrees in urban planning and geography and has published 50 professional papers. To compensate for his lack of an MFA, he has posted more than 400 stories, articles, and memoirs online, maintains two websites, a virtual bookstore, and a quasi-monthly newsletter, but always finds time to prepare suppers that often include mushrooms he forages in season to his trusting family.
