I wanted to love this story! Poppy meets Alex at college and there begins the will they or won’t they of the book. Are they destined to stay friends or is Alex the one for Poppy. I rooted for Poppy, but she was so obtuse at times! I almost put this book down. It was a cute beach read with a good ending! I gave it 3 stars because it was a good read but the characters didn't pull me in.
