About the author
Born into a lively and politicised single-parent household in Manchester, Corinna Edwards-Colledge spent much of her childhood reading fantasy books and exploring the dramatic local countryside. Corinna had a brief sojourn as an actress and singer touring with the wild and wonderful late Brian Behan; worked as a journalist; and wrote poems, short stories, three novels and two novellas. She has been commissioned to write for the Royal Literary Society, had her work featured on Radio 4’s Saturday Live and had a poem adapted into a song by renowned musician Ted Barnes. Corinna has worked in local government and trade unionism for the last 20 years, which engendered a passionate belief in public services and equality. Corinna now lives in Brighton in a loving if sometimes hectic menagerie including her husband, kids, step-kids and pets.
