After college, she launched her career as a reporter at a small-town newspaper, where she learned to listen closely and find the heart of every story. She went on to write for a college magazine, which only deepened her passion for the craft. Today, she teaches adult students in a college’s family literacy program…work she finds endlessly rewarding. There''s something magical about helping others discover the power of reading and writing, and it keeps her own love of storytelling alive every single day. When she''s not in the classroom or at her keyboard, you can find her spending time with family.
