Chen-Fu Hsu is a Taiwanese geographer and award-winning writer whose work explores humanity’s relationship with remote and fragile landscapes such as Tibet, Borneo, and the Arctic. His distinctive voice unites scientific observation with poetic insight, marking him as a leading figure in contemporary Taiwanese nature writing. His debut novel, What's a Snow Leopard to You?, won the 2021 Taiwan Literature Award.
