I began writing when I could scribble my name on a chalkboard, although I sometimes mistook "Chocolate" for "Charlotte" at the drugstore ice cream counter. I bring to any project a number of experiences, including work as a web designer, technical writer, washing machine gasket inspector, cloth store associate, girl Friday, computer tech, and telephone psychic.
I have studied the folk stories of many cultures and wonder what happened to ours. Where are the stories for people over 20 who have survived marriage, divorce, child-rearing, education, bankruptcy, widowhood, and love's last kiss? I write them.
