Carmen K. Glenn Follow

Hello, my name is Carmen K. Glenn and I am the author of 7 fabulous contemporary romance novels. My first 3 novels, OVERDRIVE, AMBITION and OFFICE GOSSIP are a 3-part series. My next 4 novels GLASS HOUSES, LIVING THE DREAM, LOVE MAKES A WOMAN and ONE THING FOR CERTAIN are standalone books. In addition, I have written a short story THE GRACE OF MY QUEEN LALIBELA.

Reading and writing have always been my passion and the neighborhood library has always been one of my favorite places. My first adult novel that had a lasting impact was Toni Morrison's THE BLUEST EYE, soon followed by Alice Walker's THE COLOR PURPLE. As a college student I enrolled in a Black Women Writers class and my horizons were expanded to historical fiction, poetry and biographies.

I was a member of Go On Girl Book Club for more than 20 years and had the opportunity to gain additional exposure to authors of the Black African Diaspora. Thanks to GOG book club I have made lifelong connections with women all over the country who share a love of reading.

I have traveled to multiple cities and states, while promoting myself and my books. Along the way I have met many great writers and committed readers. And today this exciting journey continues...
