BARBARA HINSKE is an attorney and novelist who is devoted to the happy ending! She’s the author of the Rosemont series (women’s fiction); Guiding Emily, a Tale of Love, Loss, and Courage (literary fiction); and the novels in her ‘Who’s There?’ collection (mystery/thriller/suspense). Her novella The Christmas Club was made into a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie of the same name (2019).

She inherited the fiction gene from her father who wrote mysteries when he retired and told her a story every night of her childhood. Barb and her husband are slaves to their historic home and two adorable and spoiled dogs. She has two grown children. A true homebody, she is besotted with decorating, entertaining, cooking, and gardening.

Barb's secret passion is thrift shopping. Turn over that gorgeous candlestick or vase in her home, and you’ll find a thrift store sticker. She loves the thrill of the hunt!
