Antony Swithin (1935-2002)
Antony Swithin was the pen name of William Antony Swithin Sarjeant. He was a professor of geology at University of Saskatchewan and was also interested in mystery writing, fantasy writing, folk singing and heritage preservation. His series The Perilous Quest for Lyonesse was written in the vein of The Lord of the Rings. Sarjeant passed away in 2002 and following his death, William Sarjeant Park in the Willowgrove neighbourhood of Saskatoon city was named in his honour.
