Alice McVeigh has written contemporary fiction for Orion/Hachette, and a speculative thriller for UK's Unbound, under pen name Spaulding Taylor. She is currently writing her third - with luck! - prize-winning Jane Austenesque fiction for Warleigh Hall Press. A long-term Londoner and ex-professional cellist, Alice is married, with a second home in Crete, two long-haired dachshunds and an untreatable addiction to tennis.
