ACF Bookens lives in the Southwestern Mountains of Virginia with her young son, a not-so-young hound dog, and a rambunctious puppy. When she's not writing, she cross-stitches, gardens, and hopes her son can learn to fly so that she doesn't have to keep catching him.

ACF Bookens is the pen name for author Andi Cumbo-Floyd. She writes cozy mysteries, magical realism, and books for writers, and when she's not writing, she cross-stitches, gardens, and hopes her young son will soon stop flailing himself off high things. 

Each of her books is based a bit on her life or places she's been, and each has a quest for justice in its pages.
