A Year of Spotlight Authors: Looking Back at 2025

As 2025 comes to a close, it’s the perfect time to celebrate one of the most rewarding parts of the year: our weekly author spotlights.

From January through December, BingeBooks showcased 230 unique authors across every genre—from romance and gothic romance to thrillers, mysteries, fantasy, science fiction, horror, young adult, and general fiction. Each spotlight offered readers a glimpse into the creative minds behind the stories they love, whether discovering a debut novel or revisiting a familiar favorite.

This year was full of incredible moments:

• 32 fantasy and 31 science fiction authors introduced worlds both magical and futuristic.

• 29 horror and 29 young adult authors pushed boundaries and explored new perspectives.

• 31 general fiction authors reminded us of the beauty, humor, and complexity of everyday life.

Each spotlight was a chance to connect readers with voices that inspire, challenge, and entertain. Collectively, these 230 authors brought hundreds of stories to life, and their creativity has made 2025 an unforgettable year for book lovers everywhere.
