I just finished reading Melissa F. Miller’s latest book titled “Insidious Threats”. This is the 16th book in the Sasha McCandless series and I have read them all. Normally, when I finish a book I find myself thinking about the danger the main character was able to escape or the sadness or joy that the character experienced. This time after reading the book “Insidious Threats”, I found myself admiring the main character Sasha and the person she has become. Sasha is a very good lawyer but she is more than that. She enjoys sticking up for the guy who is down on his luck. She sees the good in every person. She never gives up on anyone. And she is Ok with her own weaknesses. Sasha mentions that she has four rules she lives by. Perhaps #1 sums up “Insidious Threats”. It is never over until I say it is over. If you would like to read a book that is well written, that has a very interesting story and will you bring you into the book to the point you feel like you have a new friend then “Insidious Threats” is the book for you.

I have read almost twenty legal thrillers in the last year. Innocent Sources is by far my favorite. In fact, it is my favorite legal thriller I have ever read. This book has so many angles in it. I do not want to say too much so I will not give anything away but I really could not put the book down. I was amazed how often I was thinking about this book as I carried out my daily activities. Melissa F. Miller did us all a favor with this book because it truly was entertainment for me while I read it. Do yourself a favor and buy and read Innocent Sources.

Like many of you I find myself in a world of a million things to do. It seems I almost wake up exhausted because of building a new home and now moving into it. However, at night when I go to bed I cannot wait to read a good book. It calms me down. I just finished reading Melissa F. Miller’s latest book titled Chosen Path. What a great book! It took some turns that surprised me and I became engaged with all of the fun characters. I have come to enjoy all of the Bodhi King novels. Chosen Path is a diamond read and will keep you wanting more with each page. Order up some Bodhi King and sit and enjoy the calm ride. If it worked for me it will work for you.

Flight Path is one of the most enjoyable books I have read. As usual Bodhi King is a master at solving foul play puzzles. Why should you read this book? If you like whodunits - this book is filled with seeable and unforeseen mysteries. If it is a peaceful novel you are looking for then Flight Path is your book because Bodhi King is always in search of peace and to be in touch with his inner self. If you like touchy feely books then Flight Path a bit of that too. As usual Melissa Miller has written a thriller that keeps the reader captured until the very end.

I just read the first book of Melissa Miller’s new series “Shenandoah Shadows” entitled “Burned”. What I liked about “Burned” is this book combines thriller action with romance. Her description of the two main characters really intrigued me. In my mind I built an image of each one. I feel like one has a little of Jack Reacher in him and the other has a little of the Black Widow in her. At the same time, I could see some romantic magic hinting between them. When a book influences you to develop your own mental image of the characters then it has captured you. If you want to spend a few hours tucked away in a romantic thriller then I recommend you read “Burned”.
