Kylie is fiercely loyal and decides to babysit the twin brother of her best friend's fiancé so he doesn't do anything to spoil their engagement before the wedding in 6 weeks. Over the past 2 years Dylan has gone off the deep-end and become estranged from his family. Kylie is a public relations crisis manager and decides to stay with him in the hopes he can straighten out his life enough to reconnect with his family and go to the wedding in England. As Kylie and Dylan learn to coexist together they begin to form a bond and the read finds that both have pasts which haunt them. Dylan witnessed a tragedy which he has not fully shared with anyone, except his therapists, but he eventually shares the secret with Kylie. Kylie has her own tragic story that she shares with Dylan and even though she appears upbeat she doesn't believe she deserves love. The evolution of the relationship is skillfully done and great read.
