Ryder is my new favorite Hero. This gruff, brokenhearted cowboy, who had given up on his own Happily Ever After, has my whole heart. As LJ Evans revealed all the different layers of him, I fell deeper and deeper in love with him. Ryder takes care of everyone in his life, always putting himself and his happiness second. The way he gains Addy and Gia’s trust and love touched my heart deeply. Gia is gorgeous, feisty and intelligent and she’ll do anything to protect those she cares about, even keeping the truth of her life a secret.
Seeing these strong, protective individuals allow themselves to be vulnerable so they can come together in love is almost breathtakingly beautiful. Seeing Addy get the life, the childhood and the family she should have had all along is … extraordinary.

Kaylee Rose hit it out of the park with Owning the Game! Dylan and Raquel’s story was fantastic. I haven’t read many sports romances and I really enjoyed this one!
Dylan, one of the owners of the Vegas Venom baseball team, and Raquel, owner of a thriving flower shop, Romance in Bloom, have both been unlucky in love. Being a billionaire, Dylan’s romantic history has been with women wanting only what he can give them; when he meets Raquel, he keeps the truth of his identity a secret. Dylan is sexy, charismatic, and truly a good person. I loved his character!
After Raquel finds her treacherous fiancé in a compromising position with his secretary, she’s wary of trusting any man. Desperate, in jeopardy of losing her business and her home, she puts her faith in the wrong person and finds herself in a dangerous situation no one could have imagined. Raquel is independent, a little sassy, kind and genuine. She’s perfect for Dylan.
This book is a charming and witty, steamy and sweet, slow-burn romance. Add in baseball, billionaire romance, suspense, danger, he falls first, found family, emotional healing and some really great characters and this one is a winner!
It ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, so I can’t wait for the next book!

The moment I started reading After All the Wreckage, I recalled why I love LJ Evans' books so much: she has such an incredible way of drawing you right into her stories as if you are part of them; the beauty of the words she chooses, the way she describes people, places, events... it's like poetry. I sigh contentedly, knowing this is exactly my soul needed.
After All the Wreckage is the phenomenal story of Rory and Gage; it's the story of two young friends reunited as adults, having never forgotten the connection they felt for each other. It's an emotional tale of heartache and resilience. Hope. Forgiveness. How our dreams can change and become something different but so much more wonderful than we could ever have imagined. It's a thrilling, fast-paced romantic suspense, full of danger and excitement, with a bit of paranormal, found family, small-town goodness, and the most heartwarming, beautiful love story.
I absolutely adore Rory; her character almost jumps off the page. She's intelligent, strong, brave, snarky, loving, and loyal. She has so much self-assurance as a private investigator. Rory has loved Gage since she was 12. He was 17, a boy-man with stormy eyes and lightning in his touch. The years between them appeared to be an overwhelming obstacle.
"No matter how our lives pulled us apart, there'd always be a part of me that belonged to him."
Gage is one of those heroes you will think about long after you've finished the book; he's movie-star gorgeous, selfless, and nurturing, and it's extraordinary how he loves his siblings and looks after them. Gage gave up his dreams in order to raise his brother and young sister and to run the family bar after the death of his father and the abandonment of his flighty mother - operating a business and caring for his siblings is tough but trying to help them with their emerging paranormal abilities, especially his 13-year-old brother, is almost more than he can handle. When his brother Monte goes missing, he hires Rory to find him, reigniting his feelings for her as they unravel a web of secrets both their families have been affected by.
"And maybe... maybe that was the moment I fell all over again for Gage. Not for the bright and shiny teenage boy he'd once been, but for a man who'd chosen to be the hero."
This book kept me captivated from beginning to end. It's so full of angsty-goodness, this book-hangover will last for a long time. It was truly a phenomenal read!

I love all of Lucy Score’s books, and this is definitely a favorite for me. The way she brings Knockemout to life is incredible, and all of these characters are crafted so well. Knox, Naomi, Waylay, and every single one of the side characters will work their way into your heart and you won’t want to let them go.
Things We Never Got Over is a fantastic grumpy/sunshine book; so much emotion, some great laugh-out-loud moments and a lot of steam. I highly recommend it!

I didn’t think it was possible to love TWHFTL more than Things We Never Got Over, and I was wrong. It’s sexy and funny and sad and sweet and uplifting and suspenseful and quirky and oh-so-wonderful!
Nash and Lina are perfection together, and their story drew me in from the very beginning and kept me captivated until the very last word. Nash’s character gave me so many emotions! He’s probably my new favorite book boyfriend. Lina is a strong, sassy female character and she’s the perfect complement to Nash.
I enjoyed another trip to Knockemout, and visiting all of the amazing characters that make this series so entertaining. Well done, Ms. Score. Phenomenal job!
I loved Snow Write's character! She is a sweet debut novelist who is devastated by a hateful review which blasted her book for being way too sweet without any steam. When her assistant, Debi, sends her off for a writing retreat to regroup, Snow has no idea that her destination is the home of Debi's brothers, who were asked to help Snow with her research needs. Each brother's character is so well written! Yes, they are all breathtakingly handsome, but each one has such a distinct personality and they all have so much charm. I would have a difficult time picking a favorite. (But I have! Well, two. Eh, maybe three?…)
I highly recommend this book! It is so entertaining with such engaging characters. I am looking forward to more from this author!
The Last One You Loved is a heartbreaking, heartwarming story of strength and resilience, and of unconditional love and acceptance. It shows the value of true friendship and of the families we choose for ourselves. For me, more than anything, this story is a wonderful example of the extraordinary healing power of love. What could be better than soulmates and lifelong friends finding their way back to each other?!
LJ Evans never fails to deliver the most amazing, relatable characters, the most vivid worlds in which they live, and the most incredible Happily Ever Afters. This is a definite 5-STAR read.

Cassidy and Marco are so many of the things I love in a really good romance book. Cassidy is a strong, capable sunshiny heroine, a single mother who has made a wonderful life for herself and her son, despite the physical obstacles of her condition. Marco is a broody protector, an emotionally damaged hero who doesn't feel worthy of love. Both have a strong love of family, and the community of people who become family. What an incredible story this was, seeing them overcome the obstacles they thought were keeping them apart so they could open themselves up to the family they could be together.
“We'd somehow found our way together through a sea of loss and heartache, and now we were bound together by love and family."
This beautifully written book and its fabulous characters will stay with me for a long time.

This forbidden love story of Jada and Dax is full of secrets, drama, intrigue and suspense. It’s also a fantastic love story and oh-so-steamy! Written in the same beautiful way as her previous books, Ms. Evans did an amazing job of further developing the characters in Crossed, and then completely immersed us into their chaotic world. There is so much more to Jada than the party girl we’ve seen in past books! I grew to love Jada and Dax so much. (DAX!!!) It takes great skill for an author to make you love a character you previously didn’t care for, like Jada, or at least find some grudging respect and feelings for, like Otósan and Kaida.
I was on the edge of my seat from beginning to end, and I wanted to read it again as soon as I turned the last page. I highly recommend this book! It’s one of my favorite reads of 2021 and my new favorite by LJ Evans.
