Rebecca Yarros really knocked it out of the park with this one. The book follows Violet, who has always wanted to be in the Scribe Quadrant but is forced to join the Riders Quadrant by her mother, a commanding general at Basgiath War College.

In the Riders Quadrant, Violet has to train in combat and bond with a dragon to protect the kingdom alongside other riders. The dragons are incredibly detailed, and their unique personalities make the book even better. The author does an excellent job of incorporating a brilliant world-building description.

The characters' development is natural, and Violet is a total badass, pushing through chronic pain to reach her full potential. Her relationship with Xaden, who hates her because of her mother, develops in a well-done enemies-to-lovers manner.

The writing is so good that I was on the edge of my seat during battle scenes and couldn't stop reading until I found out what happened next. The ending is a massive cliffhanger, and I need book two now! Overall, this book is a must-read for fantasy fans.

Shadow and Bone based on the books by Leigh Bardugo is coming to Netflix on April 23rd, 2021.

It's based on the Grishaverse and it starts with the Shadow and Bone Trilogy, but it also involves the following series: Six of Crows, Alex Stern, and King of Scars.

I suggest reading them in that order to make sure you get the timelines and characters.

Nesta and Cassian's story was everything I expected and then some, I knew this book was going to be good, but never thought it would give so much information and so much hotness. I was expecting Nesta's story to be good, not epic! Cassian, oh I so love him, such a strong General yet so vulnerable emotionally speaking. I will have to wait a lot for the next book and so the little snippet into another beloved brother story. I don't like spoilers, so I won't give any, but yes there might be some trigger warnings within the story. Definitely not a YA book.

Well, this is the second book in the Solving for Pie: Cletus and Jenn Mysteries, and this romantic suspense had me hooked, Cletus and Jenn's story is full of mystery, murder, marriage, and secrets you want to uncover. The Sherlock Holmes vibe really got to me, such a refreshing read it had me laughing and intrigued at the same time. Definitely, one you need to read and one I would love to hear on audiobook in the future.

This Jane Eyre retelling story with contemporary elements and more steam started in the best way. We have Jane who's character has great new differences as well as Beau Rochester, without him living the charm we all fell in love with. Their story is full of sensuality and intimacy, will make you burn. The age gap and forbidden love will captivate you and have you reading this in no time. Remember is the start of a new trilogy, the secretes and mystery will leave you wanting the next one. Brilliant 5-stars!

This is the fourth book of the series and loved it like the previous ones, but this one has something else to make me like it more. Chase and Gunner, are two different characters, with different point of views, yet they have things in common that truly works for them. There are secrets and intriguing things that will have you reading non-stop. Their chemistry like all of K Bromberg's books is off the charts. The story plotline was amazing, I went in blind and was surprised with it all. Chase was one of the characters whose story I really wanted to read, she was the most mysterious of them all, and Gunner was a swoony book boyfriend. I would recommend the whole series, the audiobooks are fantastic so if you like hearing the stories go for them.

Cade and Jolie's story is one you definitely need to read, Laurelin Paige has done it again, I started the book and simply couldn't stop, it's so good. This is the first of the trilogy so be aware you will be begging for the next one. It's such an emotional ride, with brilliant characters. I loved that it was from Cades POV, as I really enjoy the male perspective, plus it's one of the characters I was waiting for. The sexual tension between these two will drive you insane. Definitely loved that we got Donovan within the story, he is one of my favorite characters. Get ready for this wild rebel, simply a 5 star read!

We continue on Joe Goldeberg story, he now moves to a small island and meets Mary Kay. This plotline seems a bit similar to the first book but with some surprises you will enjoy, remember Joe is in a different place, age and situation all changed. Then Caroline Kepnes delivered a twist and turn and now I need to know what will come up next. Joe is one character you will enjoy reading about, his life is certainly entertaining and the way he faces each situation is unique and refreshing, I definitely like the way he is becoming with and every after each experience and girl. I will love to see this one on screen as well.

Molly and Declan's story is a slow burn of roommates to lovers romance, it was a sweet, fun, light, and entertaining book. I always love the banter this author duo have on their stories. The trope plotline is a bit overdone, but they inserted some interesting elements into the story that makes it worth reading, the anxiety, and depression elements are part of real life and I really like how it was part of this story and characters. I think the audiobook will be fantastic when they have it available, they do know how to pick the narrators.

Fantastic sequel, this story is getting better and better. I love Poppy and I can't deny I also love every character in this story, it's refreshing and entertaining, would love to hear the audiobook to experience it all over again, so I am looking forward to that one and the next book, you need to read From Blood and Ash first to keep up with the story, and yes you are going to be begging for the next one when you are done. Brilliant 5 stars!

I got the audiobook and let me tell you I loved it so much, the narrators did a phenomenal job but the story is amazing, I needed something like this after a dark story and certainly did what I was looking for, I loved it so much I will be reading the whole series.
