Like most -if not all- of Ms. Krentz' novels, Sierra and North's HEA tale is a smartly-written, fast-paced, low-drama, partnership-building, inclusive and tolerant, fun romantic-suspense adventure.
One hundred percent perfection!!!

From the first page to the very last, The Backup Plan is an absolute joy to read. I savored every moment and that is rare for me.
Alice, Knox and Lauren are brought back together when they inherit an old B&B. Alice and Lauren used to be BFF’s and Alice had a teen crush on Knox, so their reunion and this story could have been super angsty. … But it isn’t. Instead their stories are tenderly crafted and oftentimes laugh out loud hilarious. There is so much heartwarming charm. I loved every single moment and every single word of this entire book.

First off, let me just say, I want to live at The Refuge. Like today. Or better yet, yesterday. It is absolutely everything. The perfect world, or at least the perfect community/compound. One hundred percent idyllic.
Alaska and Drake's tale is positively charming. They're both courageous and kind, and they definitely deserve each other as well as their long-awaited happily ever after.
Without saying too much, yes there's a kidnapping (It's Susan Stoker for heaven's sake!), there's steam, there's tenderness, there's action and intrigue, courageous choices and bravery, a very cute dog, and a band of friends that anyone would want to call their own.
I am so thankful for this beautiful standalone tale and I'm definitely looking forward to more Refuge books.
Zanetti nails another one!

Celine and Brad’s story is heartwarmingly sweet.

In Under One Roof, environmental engineer Mara inherits half a home. The home, however, is already inhabited by the other co-owner. A broody attorney name Liam. Will they keep clashing? Or will they find their way to a HEA? ... Well, it is a romance. (Not a spoiler!)
In Stuck With You, civil engineer Sadie works in the same tall building as engineer, Erik. They have a hot night and some misunderstandings, but fate (or a broken elevator) forces them to face have a much-needed heart to heart.
And in Below Zero, NASA engineer Hannah has a work betrayal/mishap and is left for dead but friend and longtime admirer (and behind the scenes mentor/protector) Ian is there to save the day. Can Hannah face her fear of love and commitment?
These are all fun, entertaining and swoonworthy novellas.
