Larissa if giving up men. She is tired of always find Mr Wrong. But before she can give up men she ask a stranger in a bar to pretend to be her boyfriend so her latest ex will leave her be.
Hollis is only in Savannah for a week. He is there to accept an award and then plans to return to school for his last semester. Always looking for Miss Right Now, Hollis was not looking for much more than a fun distraction.
Larissa and Hollis are book magic! The emotion and chemistry between them are everything I needed. This story brings so many big feelings. The subtlety of the story makes the emotions the much more intense. I walked away from this story completely in love with Hollis. I wanted to wrap him in a hug and tell him how much I loved him.
The supporting characters in this story just bring that much more joy to it. I will just say “Oh, Lincoln Landry how I adore you! ”
The Relationship Pact is book 3 in the completely stand alone, yet interconnected trilogy by three separate authors. This was a great escape read with big feelings. If ever a character needed a good old fashioned Mom hug it is Hollis Hudson. If you have never read Adriana Locke this is a great place start. If you give small glimpse into several of her series and the amazing characters she creates!

For Crew there is one thing that always his top priority and that is Football. Crew misses a lot of life because priorities, but nothing has been as big as losing his grandfather. Now he is back home after a losing season unsure of what his future looks like. He finds out his grandfather has a trip planned for him to Germany and with a secret partner. Respecting his Grandfather’s wishes he embarks on that journey.
Hazel has always had a connection to Crew. Since they were babies, they have been best friends. That is until one night she messed it up by kissing him and he left and cut her out of his life. Now she is standing in front of him, ready to go on a trip with him and has no idea of what to say to him.
Hazel is the girl Crew has always compared every girl to. She is the quirky but hides who she is by deflecting. Crew realizes that he hurt her pretty bad when he cut her off but one look at her and he knows that he will do anything to get his best friend back in his life.
Hazel is officially the best female character I have ever read, and she is fantastic! The sassy retorts are just gold! So many laugh out loud moments. I was hooked right from the start and there was no way I was letting go of this book until I knew everything!

I adored Cole and Cheyenne’s story! A slow burn, childhood crush was magic in this story. that moment when your dream guy finally notices you and shows definite interest is fairy tales in the making.
an accidental sext quickly turns into a hot cop fantasy come true! Cole and Cheyenne brought the heat when ever they shared the page. But there was also some heartache.

Cheyenne was in love with Cole from a young age when Cole was her big brother’s best friend next door. Now as adults, back living next door to each other ...with some urging from their not-so-subtle meddling mothers. Plus, everyone around them is reading the writing on the wall. It is their moment, their chance to see if just maybe they are meant to be.

Cole is a single dad, widowed after his daughter Mariah’s birth, hesitant to pursue any relationship but especially with his best friend’s little sister. Cheyenne is a teacher at Mariah’s school, and would love nothing more than for the hot cop next door to finally see her, all of her!

As the story progresses, there’s a conflict and heartache. It isn’t a quick fix it is going to take some real work to get through it. Cheyenne was incredibly strong in her conviction and what she need and wanted from Cole. I loved this about her Character!

Bellamy Creek is full of sexy swoony men, and I am here for it! I read this as a standalone, but I do think I need to go back and visit Bellamy Creek series book one, Drive Me Wild, where we meet Griffin and Blair, whose beautiful wedding we get to enjoy in this second book of the series. Because Blair is an amazing character.

A Rockstar romance like no other. This uniquely written story was very good. Once you started it was very hard to put it down.
Leif, drummer for an upcoming Country music band. He is a mand shrouded in darkness. There is an edge to his. You know that his wounds run deep. He is running from his past but also from the future. Leif is a man who has a protective instinct but thinks that he can protect by not getting to close to anyone.

Mia, the sister of a world-famous Rockstar. She is also running from her emotions, but also running towards safety and stability for her family. She is a single mom with a young daughter of 11 and a 2-year-old son. She has been the victim of a violent crime, losing her best friend during a armed robbery. But there is something personal about these crimes. Mia leaves LA with her children and joins her brother for a summer in Savannah.
This was my first book by AL Jackson and I really enjoyed it. I would say this is a darker romance. But the authors writing style it is more alluded too than blatantly stated. The writing in the book is very good. It was intriguing to me. It is like nothing I have ever read before. It was written in an almost poetic styling. I would say it almost feels like a sonnet or Alliterations.
This was a 5/5 read for me. I will be diving in to book two of the series.

I am not usually a fan of overly angsty new adult romances but once again Hunting has a magic when she writes. I loved every second of this story. It was amazing and delightful. It was so good! It was nice to check in on old friends but I can not wait to see what is in store for the future for these characters. Really I need BJ's story like tomorrow! So well done!

Rhett West- ex Army Ranger, current police detectives in small town Maine.
Kinsley- owner of Whiskey Blue, daughter of the chief of police. Has been in love with Rhett since she was 14.
Rhett and Kinsley are pure magic.
Kinsley has long loved Rhett. She has stood by as he left for the Army Ranger. She watched him come back a shell of the man he was before. Kinsley stood by and never judged Rhett’s behaviors.
Rhett goes against his own reason and has a one-night stand with Kinsley at her brother Boon’s wedding. He instantly regrets it. Fast Forward 2 months and he has been avoiding Kinsley even though she has been trying to call him. A scuffle at her bar brings him running to her and this is where things get good!
Kinsley and Rhett have such an amazing connection. There is something so magical about Rhett. He feels broken but his actions show that he isn’t. Kinsley has been raised with out a mother, due to her mom leaving when she was young. Kinsley worries she isn’t enough for someone to stick around for her.
It is so awesome to see Rhett’s protective nature kick in when Kinsley and her bar are threatened. There are so many moments when you get a glimpse at the kind of man Rhett is.
Rhett is totally swoon worthy. He made this book for me. I love all of Stacey Kennedy’s books and she does not disappoint with Ruthless Bastard. This was a 5/5 read for me. And Rhett got himself added to book boyfriend shelf!

Ronan and Blaire
I am usually first in line when a new release comes out for Helena Hunting's books. Her stories are usually the perfect mix of fun, steam, and escape. Kiss My Cupcake just did not get me there. I had a really hard time connecting to the characters and the story in this book.
I usually am a fan of the quirky girl but Blaire was hard to love and easy to like. Blaire’s family is way over the top, almost too over the top. This book needs more interaction between all the characters especially since both had involved back stories. Ronan almost read like the tragic hero who had never experienced any kind of love. But from what little we do know about him His grandparents loved him deeply. I know this was an enemy to lovers, business competitor’s trope but it needed another antagonist.

While this story was not my jam doesn’t mean it won’t be someone else. I am a huge Hunting fan and I will be back from whatever is next. This was a 3/5 star read for me. It is cute and quirky I just felt it needed something more.
