Oh my goodness...I admit I drug this book out longer than I usually do. I do that with the books of authors I really like as a way of prolonging the goodness- and of my favorite authors I tend to do this with K. Bromberg's books the most. I was not disappointed with Sweet Ache- it left me aching for more (see what I did there?)
I admit I went into this book expecting not to like Quinlan...why? Because that is what happened with Slow Burn- I started out not liking Haddie. That did not happen with Quinlan- I liked her from the get go and the more I read the more I identified with Q! That is something that Bromberg does so well- makes it easy to identify with her characters- they are real flaws and all and as a reader I love her for her imperfectly perfect characters!
And can we talk about Hawkin Play for just a second? I went into Sweet Ache loving the idea that the main male character was a bad boy rocker- and oh my goodness he did not disappoint!
K. Bromberg knows how to write with "all the feels" and does it better than any author I have ever read. I can not wait for Hard Beat and the 10 year gap novel!
Oh and I thought I loved Colton Donovan as the the focus of the Driven trilogy - I love him even more as Colton Donovan- big brother to Quinlan Westin! It makes me love Colt even more.

I've adored Samantha's books for so long. I look forward to each one! Can't wait to read the next Reckless book- but it'll be tough to top Liam's book.
One of my all-time favorite authors...she hasn't written a book that I didn't love yet.
This is my favorite Samantha Christy book! And my favorite Rocker book.

This is a frenemies-to-lovers story but layered with all kinds of feels. The ones that I look forward to with every book by this author I love to read. But in this one, the feels are even deeper. In this one, the feels are the type that pulls you in because they go beyond the story.
This book has good laughs and good cries layered in between some family and career drama. Just what I needed to start the new year out with.
I loved Coy and Bellamy’s story and I think you will too.
No one does family series like Adriana Locke. This is the second in her Mason family series and I can’t wait for Boon’s story.
