Dear Jane
Kendall Ryan
I love sport romances, Jen and Wes story is very interesting, Jane and Wes haven’t been in contact for a decade, Jane has a secret and when Wes is hired as the new QB for her team the sparks and tension becomes a train ready to wreck, but not everything in life is chemistry, and so they have to find a way again.
I truly enjoyed this book. I recommend it for a short light read. Cade hold my heart throughout the book.
Mind-Blowing! Wow, I have no idea what to write in a review of this astonishing story. You just need to read it, but I will try. Okay, Christopher Paolini has been working on this project for like nine years, the details and every aspect of this story was perfectly planned and it definitely shows the amount of work behind it. I've been a fan of Christopher Paolini since Inheritance Series was first published. I was waiting for this book for a while and I was more than excited when I got the honor to review this title. This story is a first contact sci-fi type of story, you get fantastic characters, starting with Kira Navarez. I was so enthralled by the story, how the author added some humor and banter into the story. This book is big, and I love big books and I cannot lie, almost 900 pages, and definitely didn't feel like it, when it's a good book and you get hooked time flies. The audiobook is so well narrated, I was expecting a group of narrators, but Jennifer Hale did a fantastic job, so kudos to her, I am looking forward to what she does next for sure. Brilliant story I am hoping to watch on the big screen someday!
This one has it all, the battle, the storyline, the characters, the romance, simply wonderful, I need my own Rhys. Simply fantastic, I know I need more and so I will keep on reading them all. The audiobook is very well narrated and totally recommended to sync with both.
One of the best PNR books I have read, definitely worth the wait to read them all, the story is brilliant, the characters are fantastic, the twists and turns had me reading non-stop. Sarah J Maas has a genius mind to built all this and been able to write it in a way that is just perfect for the reader. The audiobooks are fantastic. Bravo, I give a standing ovation!
Brilliant story, definitely a must-read for anyone into PNR. The characters are fantastic, the world-building is everything. The writing and pacing are perfect, a great balance of everything from romance to mystery, suspense, adventure. Feyre is a character I love strong and determined. Read it and by any chance, you like audiobooks the narration done by Jennifer Ikeda is phenomenal! Brilliant 5 amazing must-read stars!
This is book is nothing you have read by Marissa Meyer, this YA contemporary, gives us Pru and Quint's story, where they meet as lab partners and they now find themselves having to work together. It was a cute story wanted to see how karma was going to play into the plot and this is the only part I thought it was missing a bit. It was overall a good story, one I heard as I got the audiobook, and the narrator Rebecca Soler did a good job portraying the characters, the edition good as well.
A Dystopian story through and through, civilization was forced to go underground because of climate change. As always we have a corrupt system within Compound Eleven that is handling everything the wrong way. We get Eve, a strong girl that tries her best to get to the outside, then we have Wren, a boy that wants to protect her. We get Eve's inner thoughts and see the world in a very interesting way, as the author did the narration in a way we still get some mystery behind them. The story is well developed and flows while reading it, the world-building is good, the main characters are in their teens but the story is not meant as a YA novel, but we get a lot of characters and they were very well developed. I can't wait to see what awaits these two in the next installment!
Great start for this YA fantasy book, I truly enjoyed reading this refreshing story, the world-building was fantastically done, the characters are terrific and I so need to find out what comes next. I definitely loved that the author gave us a different POV. Refreshing story with individually elements that makes this story so unique. The pacing was good you get dragged right from the start, and the ending, yes it's a cliffy so you will want to get the next one soon. I wish they do the audiobook it would be so good. Full of adventures, action, intrigue, and magic. You would love to get immersed in this new world.
Cillian Fitzpatrick and Persephone's story was spectacular! I love a good anti-hero and I know LJ Shen delivers one of the best ones, this book was nothing I expected in the best way possible. It grabs you from the first chapter and keeps you rooted to your seat until you are done. The turmoil of emotions you get to experience through the entire story is fantastic. "Kill" is a character I loved because of his complexity, the mystery behind the way he is, while Persy is a strong woman trying to peel his layers. You will be dragged through the book in total submission to the plotline. You will find yourself forgetting about real life and be warned you won't regret it at all. Another brilliant 5-star review for one of the top favorite reads in 2020.
Scott Sebastian and Tess Turani's story is unique and after the last book cliffhanger well let's just say I needed answers. This is the final installment and the conclusion couldn't be more perfect for them, the whole story that developed in this book to get everything we needed for these two characters to find their future was done so well that I simply couldn't put it down. I was on edge seeing how Tess stood up for everything she knew she deserved and in the best way she could. The second character's story was interesting as well. Definitely a great story, done as only Laurelin Paige can deliver with cliffhangers that will simply do justice in the following book, one you would want to read for sure. Five brilliant stars!
This is part of a series of 3 books written by 3 different authors, they can be read as stand-alone and yet you will want to read them all. This on is about River Tate and Anastasia Bailey, their story is an unconventional one, their relationship develops in a very original way, it was refreshing and yet the slow burn was killing me slowly. There are so many factors in their story, I love the characters, all of them. Having the hero struggling mainly with ADHD and Dyslexia was original and made this story even better, it made him unique and see the world and people in his own way. Definitely worth reading all of them, I can't wait to find out more about the roommates stories. Perfect reading for sport romance, college, and mental health trope lovers.
